Underrated band ,their harmonies were really second to none, I always loved John's style on drums when he was just a kid he really beat on those things.
Johnny Cash was so right when he said they were the most talented family ever encountered. They did a great cover of the Mamas and the Papas hit and yes, Susan had great dance moves. I also like the guys’ suits. It’s a crime that Johnny’s TV show wasn’t on longer (I believe this was from Season 2) because it was so refreshing from some of the stuff that was on the tv at the time. Do you remember when he made that cameo appearance in the Partridge Family’s first episode? It brought him full circle in terms of the Cowsill and The Partridge Family (which was supposed to be the Cowsills’ break through but others thought differently. They would have been good playing themselves. But Shirley Jones and David Cassidy were also good. Good times from my past are always fun.
Susan and Barry moved to New Orleans in the 1990's. Sadly, Barry passed away days after Hurricane Katrina. Susan still lives and plays music in New Orleans in 2024 where she's raising her two daughters. She was in a great local band named the Continental Drifters who was the house band Uptiwn at Carrollton Station for a few years.
This song is bittersweet for me. I was about 10 years old when this song came out. The hippie look was all the rage. Psychedellic colors, fringed vests and purses. It was a fun time. Hippie Power was what America needed in the late Sixties. Young people wanted to unite and be heard. A lot of great songs that will always touch my heart. Ahhhh....to be young.

RI’s grooviest!
Well, he almost nails Denny Doherty's phrasing... which is not easy. Great harmony... audio sync is out.
Rest in Peace Bill and Barry
If Bob is gonna be singing this, he should have some hair. Just saying.
Pretty sure the "new" verse was one that they removed from the original song from the musical.
This is sacred.....nothing more to say
Monday monday
❤❤❤
This is my favorite song from the 60's. I can remember this being played in the school lunch room when I was in 8th grade.
Only dislikes are from Professor X, Captain Picard, and Lieutenant Ilea 😮😅
didn't care
i was
My first album I was given but I liked Monday Monday on it.
Our generation when there was love in the world. Now, there is hate everywhere.
Still just as good as the first time I heard it on TV, when I was 14. They really were a very talented family.
Sorry, no Billy, no good!
Man what a performance . . . no words
Ga ga at the go go was taken out and changed for radio play
I was There
GOD>>>>I MISS THESE DAYS....REALLY!
Me gusta mucho esta Musica del Siglo XX.
I'll always love the Cowsills and this song.
So well done! BRAVO!
I remember watching this! Oh my gosh so long ago I am 67 years old and I think I may have been 13 years old then. I still love watching The Cowsills!
GOD GIFTED TALENT.
La musica de antes era mucho mejor que ahora.
Son geniales, eran muy escuchados en Chile, pero ahora las radios tocan musica a la pinta de ellos.
Hair Like Jesus Wore It. Great
How do they still sound like kids? I really have found to like them.
Just watched the 2011 documentary. Thank you Cowsill family for bringing joy to so many, even today. It wasn't all for nothing. You are truly loved ❤
Never seen this by them. What was the day of the week and cash's show was on, and the airdate?
Barbara also had a beautiful voice

Loved this period of Hippie humanism and power, peace and love *
THE COWSILLS WERE A VASTLY UNDER RATED GROUP!1
